This blog is the combination of an academic project, the need of practical tool to organize my research and a way to showcase the world my dedication to cybersecurity study. In this post I will go in more details on what I am hoping to achieve with this blog and during my learning journey.
Academic project
As last project for my Media and Cultural Production degree I am researching what elements make blogs a great educational tool. I am very passionate about this subject because the niche subject I am trying to research lacks formal educational resources and I am finding great sources in research blogs like the one I am building. Thanks to this research I will back the blog design choices with academic resources to offer an optimized user experience.
Research highlights
Creating organized posts about my cybersecurity research and learning process I want to create a practical tool to access my results and sources. I am not trying to create formal educational content but, showcasing my process and listing the resources used, I hope to facilitate others research journey.
Employability
As suggested by many cybersecurity professionals I have been in communication with, a blog is an effective way to show potential employers your work and dedication. I am still in the early stages of my path, but I believe that by the end this blog will clearly highlight the skills I have learned during this journey.
Conclusion
Overall, I feel very lucky to be able to combine so many interests in one project and I am optimistic about the success of my journey.
